@EarthandWood You don't need a 4 year degree to be a Warrant, so while it may help your packet, it's not required. I got through the program with only a high school diploma.

@jgtheman84 Much less than that. US has ~750 Apaches in service. Probably much harder to be an Apache pilot in the other countries that use them, whom have a few dozen at most.

it sucks that they make it impossible to be able to fly these things. they only have about 1200 or so apaches in the us arsenal and probably everyone in the entire united states wants to fly them so its too competitive.

Wow this video is a sign to me. I am moving to Utah and I am planning to apply for WOFT so I can accomplish my life long dream of becoming a pilot. I have recently obtained my 4 year degree so hopefully that will help me. Is anyone else going WOFT? I really need to get some community service on my packet and some LORs. I don't know where I am going to get an Army Aviator's LOR.

@rockmuscfan Google the following, "und hftp". Also join a sports team, get good grades, join boy scouts, get involved in your school. It's not as hard as you think, don't ever give up on your dreams! (It wouldn't hurt to get your private pilots license before going off to college, I wish I had)

@rockmuscfan it would be better if you have passed college and got a degree, that would give you immediate access to the training school. so if you want to be a pilot you better do well at school.
